Join a presentation by JFAS Executive Committee member Professor Gary A. Rendsburg, Department of Jewish Studies, as he explores the Robison Hebrew Manuscripts Collection, a collection of Yemenite Hebrew manuscripts, dating from the 15th through the 19th centuries. The collection includes Bible manuscripts, commentaries, prayer books, and other writings. Professor Rendsburg will also talk about conservation efforts and digital imaging techniques to preserve these documents. Note: You don’t have to be Jewish to enjoy this presentation – a lot of the information pertains to all old manuscripts.
